What size should I choose?
Measure the outer width of the hob, from left to right edge.
Choose the size that is closest to your measurement:
60 cm – fits hobs approx. 56–60 cm
70 cm – fits hobs approx. 66–70 cm
80 cm – fits hobs approx. 76–80 cm
90 cm – fits hobs approx. 86–90 cm
The depth of the hob also matters. Wisst is adapted for standard depths on induction hobs .
If your hob is unusually deep, the silicone ring may be stretched more in the corners. If you are unsure, also measure the depth and contact us.
Tip: If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one .
If the band is stretched too much, it can become thinner in thickness and then risk slipping too far down into the gap.
Does Wisst fit all induction hobs?
Wisst is designed for most standard induction hobs that are loosely top-mounted on top of the kitchen counter , without a metal edge .
There should be no silicone or other solid seal under the hob.
The hob should be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions . The fit may vary if the hob has beveled edges or is extra deep .
What material is Wisst made of?
Wisst is made of flexible, food-safe silicone .
The material is heat-resistant , easy to clean and approved for use in kitchens.
How do I clean Wisst?
Wisst is easily cleaned with warm water and dish soap , or by wiping with a damp cloth .
Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaning agents .
Why should I use Wisst instead of liquid silicone?
Wisst is a removable solution that makes it easy to keep the area around the hob clean, without dirt getting deep into the gap. You also don't have to lift the hob when cleaning .
Many manufacturers advise against liquid silicone because the hob needs to be able to move during thermal expansion , which can otherwise lead to stresses.
Always follow the manufacturer's recommendations when installing hobs.
