What size should I choose?
Measure the outer width of the hob, from left to right edge.
Choose the size that is closest to your measurement:
60 cm – fits hobs approx. 56–60 cm (22.0-23.6")
70 cm – fits hobs approx. 66–70 cm (26.0-27.6")
80 cm – fits hobs approx. 76–80 cm (29.9-31.5")
90 cm – fits hobs approx. 86–90 cm (33.9-35.4")
The depth of the hob also plays a role. Wisst is adapted for standard depths of induction hobs.
If your hob is unusually deep, the silicone ring may become more stretched in the corners. If you are unsure, also measure the depth and feel free to contact us.
Tip: If you are between two sizes, it is better to choose the larger one.
If the band is stretched too much, it may become thinner in thickness and then risk slipping too far down into the gap.
Does Wisst fit all induction hobs?
Wisst is designed for most standard induction hobs that are loosely top-mounted on the kitchen counter, without a metal edge.
There should be no silicone or other fixed seal under the hob.
The hob must be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions. The fit may vary if the hob has bevelled edges or is extra deep.
What material is Wisst made of?
Wisst is made of flexible, food-safe silicone.
The material is heat-resistant, easy to clean, and approved for kitchen use.
How do I clean Wisst?
Wist can be easily cleaned with warm water and dish soap, or by wiping it with a damp cloth.
Avoid strong or abrasive cleaning agents.
Why should I use Wisst instead of liquid silicone?
Wisst is a removable solution that makes it easy to keep the hob area clean, without dirt getting deep into the gaps. You also avoid having to lift the hob when cleaning.
Many manufacturers advise against liquid silicone because the hob needs to be able to move during thermal expansion, which can otherwise lead to tension.
Always follow the manufacturer's recommendations when installing hobs.
Can the transparent model become discolored?
Transparent silicone may become discoloured by strongly staining foods and spices, such as turmeric, curry, or paprika. This does not affect the product's function or durability and is therefore not covered by the right to claim.
How does return work?
If you wish to return your order, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you received it.
• Contact us before returning the product and provide your order number.
• The product may be carefully tested but must be returned in essentially unchanged condition.
• Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
• Write your order number clearly on or in the package.
